How Much Does Shipping Cost and How Long Does It Take?

Short answer: shipping is charged by actual weight, not by a fixed flat rate and not by an estimated tier. We normally ship by air, and most destinations arrive in 7–12 days. Some regions take longer. There is no small-order penalty — a 20 pcs order is charged with the same method as a 300 pcs order.
Why freight is charged by actual weight
Jewellery is light relative to its value, so weight-based pricing is usually the cheaper method for the buyer compared with a flat per-order fee. It also means the freight line on your quotation reflects your actual order rather than an average that subsidises heavy orders.
| Factor | Effect |
|---|---|
| Total weight of the order | Primary driver; freight is calculated from actual weight |
| Destination country | Rates and transit time differ by region |
| Destination type | Remote areas take longer and cost more than major cities |
| Season | Peak periods around major holidays add transit time |
| Packaging | Gift boxes and inserts add weight, so decide packaging before the freight is quoted |
Transit time
Air freight to most destinations is 7–12 days door to door after dispatch. Some regions are longer. Transit time is separate from production time: the clock for shipping starts when the order is finished and dispatched, not when you place it.
Packaging changes the calculation
If you plan branded boxes, pouches or inserts, decide them before the freight is quoted. Packaging is the most common reason a freight estimate moves, because it adds weight and volume to every unit. Deciding it after sampling means the freight has to be re-quoted.
What to send for an accurate freight quote
- The quantity per style, so the total weight can be estimated.
- The destination city and postal code — not just the country.
- Whether you want branded packaging, and what kind.
- Whether the order is a sample shipment or bulk, since sample shipments are usually lighter but more urgent.
Questions buyers ask
Is shipping included in the unit price?
No. Unit prices are quoted per style; freight is quoted separately by actual weight for your destination.
How long does delivery take?
Most destinations arrive in 7–12 days after dispatch by air. Some regions take longer, and peak seasons add time.
Do small orders pay more per unit for shipping?
There is no flat small-order surcharge. Freight follows actual weight, so a small order simply weighs less and costs less to ship.
Can you ship samples and bulk together?
Samples are usually shipped as soon as they are ready so you can review them sooner. Bulk ships after you confirm the design.
